President Muhammadu Buhari is an exceptional leader, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said on Sunday.
The former Lagos state governor disclosed this after a meeting with President Buhari in Aso Rock on Sunday.
Tinubu returned to Nigeria a fortnight ago after months in London treating a knee ailment.
Buhari was among the many dignitaries that visited the APC chieftain in London while he was recuperating.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the meeting, Tinubu said he was at the State House to thank Buhari for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.
“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,” he said.
