Nigeria’s ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, is dead.
He died in a private hospital in Lagos on his way to Morocco, according to a statement by the Media and Publicity officer of the Zazzau emirate council on Friday.
He was the Magajin Garin Zazzau and biological younger brother to the Emir of Zazzau.
The deceased was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari last year.
The diplomat’s funeral prayers will be announced later, according to the statement.
He is survived by a wife and two children.
