Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, has said his counterpart in Bauchi state Bala Mohammed would soon defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Zulum did not, however, give details of how and when the defection will take place.
But all Zulum would say are the following: “The only quarrel that I am having with my colleague, the Governor of Bauchi State is his refusal to come into the APC. But inshaa Allah, very soon, he will join us. He’ll join the Progressives. I am here to support him.”
The governor led the North-East Governors to perform the ceremony for the reconstruction and upgrading of the Bauchi State Government House on Thursday.
Zulum who is the Chairman of the North-East Governors’ Forum expressed his appreciation to his colleagues supporting him to take the North-East Governors’ Forum to a greater height and indeed to the next level.
