States’ Internally Generated Revenue dropped to N1.31trillion at the end of 2020 from N1.33trillion in 2019, report by the National Bureau of Statistics, has shown.
The “Internally Generated Revenue at state level for fourth quarter and full year 2020” showed a negative growth of -1.93 per cent year on year.
The Q4, 2020 IGR for states and FCT also dipped to N335.25 billion from N338.57 billion recorded in Q3, 2020.
This showed a negative growth of -0.98% quarter on quarter.
The report indicated that Lagos topped the IGR table with N418.99bn.
The report showed that Rivers came second with N117.19bn while Yobe State recorded the least Internally Generated revenue.
