The late Shehu of Dikwa, Alhaji Mohammed Ibn Masta II El-Kanemi who died on Saturday has been buried.
He was buried at the Shehu’s Palace in Maiduguri on Sunday.
The late Shehu died while receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Abuja.
The burial, which was held at about 10am, was attended by Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum , Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin El-Kanemi, emirs and other prominent personalities in the state.
The death of the late Shehu was announced on Saturday by the Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa in Biu, shortly after presentation of staff of office to the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mai Mustapha Umar Mustapha by Governor Zulum .
