Any peace meeting called by former Osun Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola on the political feud between former Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose and Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde is unacceptable, the South West Zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said.
Spokesperson of the South West PDP, Mr Lere Olayinka, who disclosed this in a statement Friday said the party has asked Oyinlola to restrain himself from further sowing the proverbial seed of discord in the southwest PDP.
The statement said Oyinlola has no moral latitude to reconcile the warring leaders, adding that “to us, Prince Oyinlola is supposed to be Governor Seyi Makinde’s leader but the reverse is the case now as he is painfully acting like Governor Makinde’s ‘appendage’ and also his contractor.
The party said it has been enjoying peace in the zone before Prince Oyinlola returned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and set loyal leaders of the party on collision course,
