A new Secretary to Katsina Sate Government has been appointed by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.
The new SSG is Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, a former Director General of the Federal Mortgage Bank.
Radda revealed this in a statement he personally signed.
The governor also sacked all political appointees of former Governor Bello Masari with effect from Tuesday, and ordered them to hand over to the most senior director in their MDAs.
However, he exempted Pilgrims Welfare Board, saying it will continue as a committee until the completion of 2023 Hajj operations.
Radda has also announced his first set of appointments.
In a statement, the governor announced, as the Secretary to the Government of the State.
In another development, the Katsina state governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has dissolved all political appointments with effect from today, Tuesday.
Also, appointed were Alh. Jabiru Tsauri as the new Chief of Staff; Barr. Muhtar Aliyu Saulawa, Deputy Chief of Staff; while Alh. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji id the Principal Private Secretary.
Others who have been appointed include Malam Maiwada Danmallam, Director General Media; Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary; Malam Miqdad Isah as Senior Special Assistant (Digital Media) and Abubakar Badaru Jikamshi becomes the Senior Special Assistant ( Print and Electronic Media).
Alh. Bishir Maikano is the Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) Deputy Governor’s Office.
Other appointments are Alh. Hassan Ibrahim Danhaire as Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties), Deputy Governor’s Office and Ahmed Rabiu as Official Photographer to the Governor.
Radda who congratulated the new appointees. urged them to join hands with him in turning around the fortunes of the State.
The governor has promised to serve the people with commitment and sincerity of purpose toward building a better future for the people of Katsina.
