The Presidency has raised an alarm over a plot to launch a campaign of calumny against President Muhammadu Buhari by some individuals.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said the intention of the people behind the plot is to deploy the media in publishing several allegations against the president, including accusations that he is suppressing a particular religion or ethnic groups.
He said the campaign will be launched anytime soon through editorials and purported investigative stories, using some online newspapers and blogs.
