One person has been killed when gunmen attacked some travellers along Osogbo-Ibokun road in Osun State.
Report says the gunmen stopped vehicles after they blockaded the road, before the shot sporadically. It added that the gunmen robbed the passengers of their belongings, and left the scene after they had shot one of the passengers.
The police said the gunmen escaped before its men arrived at the scene.
The police said the remains of the deceased, whose identity was yet unknown, was deposited at the state’s hospital in Osogbo.
