Veteran Nolloywoon actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has pleaded with the general public to disregard claims concerning ‘sex for roles’ in Nollywood.
He disclosed this on his Instagram handle.
The term ‘sex for roles’ is a situation where an upcoming artist would be asked to engage in a sexual relationship with a higher colleague before being given a role in a Nollywood movie.
“When you hear of sex for roles in Nollywood, please do not believe all you are told. Many of the girls are not working hard to live up to the roles they are cast for. Quite a shame,” he said.
