Nigeria has recorded 388 fresh infections of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 187,023.
The Nigerian Centre of Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on its website.
The agency said Lagos tops the chart with 166 cases, followed by Akwa Ibom 89, Rivers 76, Oyo 15, Edo 12 and Benue 11.
The data reveals that Delta has seven fresh infections, FCT 4, Ogun 4, Kaduna 2, while Gombe and Nasarawa has one each.
So far, 168,455 diagnosed with the disease have been treated and discharged.
The country recorded 2,268 fatalities since the outbreak of the pandemic in February 2020, the agency said.
