The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company PLC on Friday launched its Export Packaging and Processing Centre in Lagos.
NAHCO is a ground handling service provider in the aviation, energy, logistics, food and beverages industry and aviation training.
Chairman of NAHCO Board of Directors, Seinde Fadeni, appreciated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo for his support in seeing to the coming alive of the project and sought the support of the Federal Government in achieving its objectives
“At NAHCO, we firmly believe that there is a lot of foreign exchange that Nigeria can earn through food exports. We have come to lead the charge. We would need the government to give us all the support we need,” he stated.
Fadeni said the livelihood and prosperity of many Nigerians depend on the export of perishables, and urged the government to liaise with stakeholders and come up with ways to move the segment forward.

Group Managing Director of NAHCO, Indranil Gupta, said “Non-oil exports will have to play a pivotal role in strengthening the economic might of our great nation.”
He noted that exports bring about economic development by way of earning foreign exchange and helping the domestic economy by generating jobs, thereby putting money into the pockets of Nigerians.
