The former CSKA and Leicester City winger was on Thursday night unveiled by the club following their agreement to join the club till end of the season.
It was an unbelievable development in the eyes of NPFL fans who viewed his move to Pillars as an act of frustration.
Some of his die-hard fans expressed their feelings by describing the move as a step backward toward his career, questioning that it’s either he has a secret mission or he just wants to find anything called a club just to keep himself fit till he gets a dream club calling for his signature.
The former Leicester City forward admitted, “a lot of people failed to understand the reason behind my coming back to the club (Kano Pillars).
He said he has a mission which he hoped to accomplish sooner or later.
“I left Pillars over 10-years ago without winning the league then but now, by God grace, I will make a special record by leading the club to the Nigeria Professional Football League title,” Musa said..
Shortly after signing the contractual agreement form, the AFCON winner said he is back at the club to contribute his quota up to the end of the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
He promised to do his best to see Sai Masu Gida emerge as the champions of the current NPFL campaign.
