Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led the Federal Government delegation to the coronation of the 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero on Saturday.
Others in the entourage of the vice president are the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, ministers and other dignitaries.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero was appointed as the Emir of Kano on March 9, 2020 after Emir Muhammad Sanusi II was dethroned.
Prior to his appointment as the Emir of Kano, he was appointed as Emir of Bichi in 2019, one of the new emirates created by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
