The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (KSPWA) has launched a mandatory education program for its registered pilgrims. This program aims to guide them in performing Hajj rites according to Islamic principles.
“This comprehensive program is held every Saturday and Sunday across all 23 local government areas and is crucial for all registered pilgrims,” said Yunusa Muhammad Abdullahi, Public Relations Officer of the Agency.
In a message to the intending pilgrims, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, Executive Chairman of the agency, emphasized the program’s purpose: “Equipping our pilgrims with the necessary knowledge ensures a confident, informed, and peaceful Hajj experience.”
He added, “We believe this education empowers you to perform the pilgrimage with understanding and peace of mind.”
Experienced Islamic scholars will guide participants through the spiritual aspects of Hajj, including rituals, their significance, and proper conduct. Additionally, agency staff and stakeholders will provide crucial operational information on travel procedures, luggage restrictions, permitted items, and available support services.
Malam Salihu further stressed that, “Hajj is not a pleasure trip, but a spiritual journey seeking divine reward. Be prepared for unforeseen challenges and approach them with patience and understanding.
