Hunters have killed two suspected kidnappers and rescued two abducted persons in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State on Sunday.
The operation took place at Upogoro hill following credible intelligence reports from men of Okehi LG Joint Taskforce.
It was learned that the assailants have been operating on the Okene-Lokoja and Okene-Auchi roads of the state before luck run out of them.
A media aide to Okehi LG chairman Kikg Habeeb said one of the kidnappers was shot dead in exchange of gunfire while one was apprehended, and later died before reaching hospital.
The hunters also rescued two victims Malam Sanni Uwaiti and Ramatu Tukur, both of Tollgate area along Okene and Ajoakuta area.
