The Oyo State Command says hoodlums are responsible for the fire incident of the Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesman, Olugbenga Fadeyi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Fadey said the hoodlums were loaded in a bus and taxi. He said the Police were told that the arsonists shot in the air several times as they put fire to the house located in the Soka area of Ibadan.
He said the Police learnt the house was set ablaze around 3 am on Tuesday after the power supply to the area was cut off.
He said the police had begun an investigation into the incident.
