Four people were abducted on Wednesday when gunmen invaded Kiyi, a village in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A family member of one of the victims said the kidnappers have contacted them demanding N50 million ransom for each hostage.
He said the gunmen broke into his brother’s house through the backdoor and destroyed the iron bars of the window before gaining access into his apartment.
Spokesperson, FCT Police Commad, Miriam Yususf confirmed the incident.
She said the police have launched an operation to rescue the victims and apprehend the fleeing suspects.
