From his comfort zone abroad, one Simon Ekpa posted this disturbing video on Tuesday, November 1, and it has since gone viral on social media. He claimed, “The Nigeria government sponsored terrorists to take over Nigeria like the Taliban in Afghanistan are all set to go. While Southern Nigeria leaders are busy. Biafrans should monitor the expelled criminals and their onlines okes.”

Our findings show that it is FAKE. The original video was first posted on 23.11.2021. However, it went viral again around Mali and Burkina Faso in March this year. Thereafter, a certain Kanfari Sonni Maiga from Gao in Mali, used it to buttress his claim at the weekend that Malian soldiers protect their country better than Burkinabe soldiers.
Simon Ekpa then used the same video and claimed that it is in Nigeria. Simon Ekpa describes himself as a “human rights activist, CEO, senior legal advisor at Ekpa & Co Oy, legal researcher, author, analyst, Finnish politician, Biafra spokesperson.”
His real mission, apparently, is to ride on the scare caused by Western embassies’ “terror alert” and cause panic in Nigeria. Beware!
