A former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Dr Olu Agunloye been appointed as acting national chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Agunloye was appointed Thursday by the party’s National Working Committee in Abuja following the resignation of the party’s national chairman, Professor Tunde Adeniran, and his disengagement from partisan politics.
The SDP National Secretary, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, said the decision was taken at the party’s NWC meeting yesterday in Abuja.
Agunloye was the party’s deputy national chairman (South).
