Ebonyi State House of Assembly has declared the seats of three members elected on the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) vacant.
The development was sequel to a letter allegedly wrote by the lawmakers resigning their respective seats.
Mr. Francis Nwifuru, the assembly speaker read the letter during an emergency sitting on Tuesday.
The affected lawmakers are Ali Okechukwu (Ishielu North); Franca Okpo Abakaliki North) and Victor Aleke (Ebonyi West).
The three lawmakers and their PDP colleagues were not at the sitting.
The speaker directed the clerk to write to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to intimate it of the development.
