The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President says as civilians many Nigerians may not be able to access the capabilities or otherwise of the new Service Chiefs.
He said this during a Television programme on Tuesday, a few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari appointed new Service Chiefs.
The new service chiefs are Major-General Leo Irabor as Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru as Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo as Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao as Chief of Air Staff.
Many Nigerians have, however, doubted the competence of the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru, due to his failure to stop Boko haram attacks while he was Theater Commander Operation Lafiya Dole in Maiduguri, in 2017.
But Adesina said President Buhari did a thorough job in coming up with the four newly appointed commanders.
