The airlift of Christian pilgrims from Nigeria to the Holy Land begins on December 22, 2024.
The Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission stated this in a statement signed by the commission’s spokesperson, Celestine Toruka, on Tuesday.
Toruka said the Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, made the announcement during a meeting of the Conference of States, comprising States Chairmen and Secretaries of Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards and FCT in Abuja.
Adegbite said the meeting was to deliberate on moving the commission forward and charged the Conference of States members to look up to God.
He urged them to serve the people, adding that God would give them the grace to do what was right.
The NCPC boss warned against abscondment of pilgrims and corruption in the holy land.
