The Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) says it has supplied 1,300
oxygen – filled cylinders for case management of coronavirus patients
in isolation centres across the country.
An administrator of CACOVID, Zouera Youssoufou, disclosed this while
giving updates on the activities of CACOVID in Lagos.
Youssoufou, who is also the Managing Director/CEO of Aliko Dangote
Foundation, said the provision of oxygen was made available at no cost
by Raj Gupta of African Industries Group, after requests from the
Presidential task force on covid-19.
She said the CACOVID has just recently provided 122 cylinders of
oxygen to Yaba medical centre for the use of coronavirus patients.
