President Muhammadu Buhari’s remarks that Nigerians should wait on God to resolve the insecurity facing the country is a cleat proof that he has outlived his usefulness, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said on Saturday night.
A statement by PDP spokesperson Kola Ologbondiyan said since the administration has shown it is helpless in tackling security challenges, it should just quit.
He said the Buhari administration is a “grossly incompetent,” adding that the president’s remark only vindicated its stand that the administration lacks what it takes to govern this country.
“This statement further goes to confirm that the Buhari’s administration has outlived its usefulness, if it had any, and that the promises and assurances made by President Buhari, on the fight against insecurity amount to mere lip service”, the PDP further declared.
The PDP claims that it believes that God has the power to intervene, it however emphasizes that that the Buhari administration lacks the commitment, determination and responsibility to secure the nation.
