Benue State government says three Jukun fishermen were arrested on Tuesday by the police in connection with last Saturday’s attack on the convoy of Governor Samuel Ortom.
Security Adviser to the Benue state governor, Col. Paul Hemba (retd), said this when he conducted journalists round the scene of the attack on Tuesday.
Ortom’s convoy was attacked by gunmen along at Tyo Mu, Makurdi-Gboko road.
Hemba stated the police team found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and they are being investigated.
