Youths of Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency who have obtained their secondary school certificate but unable to pay for Joint Matriculation Examinations (JAMB) due to lack of finance will soon breathe a sigh of relief, as the lawmaker expressing the constituency, Francis Agbo is set to offset their bills.
A statement by his media aide, Andrew Agbese, said the lawmaker has constituted a Central Planning Committee, with 2-man sub-committees in each local government area, to collate and screen prospective applicants for the exercise.
It said the lawmaker’s aim was to assist the less privileged in his constituency to further their education, adding that special attention would be paid to orphans, indigent applicants, the vulnerable or physically persons.
The statement, however, urged people whose families or parents can afford the registration fee not apply in order to enable families that cannot afford to benefit from the gesture.
