An unconfirmed number of soldiers and personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have been killed during bandits attack at a camp of Joint Security Task Force in Shiroro local government area of Niger State.
Ten people were also abducted in a separate attack in Allawa, Manta, Gurmana, Bassa and Kokki in the same local government area.
The attacks happened on Wednesday evening and in the early hours of Thursday.
President, Shiroro Youth Movement, Mohammed Idris, confirmed the incidents.
He said over 100 bandits attacked the communities and operated for over five hours.
The spokesperson of Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, is yet to respond to the incident.
