Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala over appointment as Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Atiku who said he has worked in close contact with the new WTO DG is more qualified for the job of Director General of the World Trade.
He said the new WTO boss is an apostle of free trade, and with her elevation, the world will see economic prosperity, adding that Nigeria and Africa are proud of her for emerging the first Nigerian and woman to emerge as WTO DG.
