The All Progressives Congress (APC) has threatened to sue Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal over his government’s alleged plan to sell Buzaye Mechanic garage and the premises of Civil Service Club in the state.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the state chairman of the party, Isa Sadiq Achida said the club was the only recreational centre of civil servants in the state.
He said the sale of the mechanic village would add to the number of unemployment in the state.
The party also urged the governor to borrow a leaf from his colleagues in other states who had paid retired civil servants their entitlement.
Mr Achida said the state government was owing gratuities since 2016.
