The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended membership registration/revalidation in Delta State.
The state APC publicity secretary, Mr. Sylvester Imonina, who announced the suspension in a statement on Thursday in Asaba, did not however give what the complaints were and if they were serious enough to warrant halting the exercise.
On Wednesday February 10, minister of state for Labour Festus Keyamo (SAN) raised the alarm calling for balancing in the membership registration in his Delta home state to avoid chaos.
Imonina said because of the complaints, the party’s national leadership suspended membership registration/revalidation in the state, adding that the party is aware that members of party were in high spirit and were looking forward to take part in the registration, “unfortunately, the expectation of party faithful had been put on hold for no fault of theirs.
