Former minister of Information Salihu Dasuki Nakande has declared his support for Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for the APC chairmanship.
About seven aspirants have indicated interest to become National Chairman of the APC at the expiration of the Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the party’s extended tenure in June.
Dasuki told a news conference in Jos that Al-Makura is the most suitable candidate to be the chairman of the APC, adding that the Senator will deliver effective leadership.
The former minister said among those aspiring for the chairmanship seat, Al-Makura possesses the credentials to turn the party around positively.
