Former Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Daily Times, Aliu Akoshile, has emerged the Chairman of University of Lagos Alumni Association, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter.
Akoshile emerged the new leader after an election in Abuja.
Other members of the new exco inaugurated in Abuja are: Dupe Nelson (vice chairman), Wale Balogun (general secretary), Oluwafemi Ayodeji Oteyolanu (assistant secretary), Phyllis Chidi-Ebere Nweke (welfare secretary), Wole Abraham (financial secretary),Ifewunmi Ajiboye (treasurer) and Ms Julia Davids (publicity secretary).
The immediate past chairman of the branch and his deputy Tijjani Mohammed and Bola Olaiwola Saliu, are now ex- officio members.
In his inaugural speech, Akoshile said the new exco would serve diligently to realise the lofty objectives of the association.
