At least 12 people have been kidnapped when bandits invaded Kofar Gayan and Kofar Kona areas of Zaria, Kaduna State.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the incident.
The incident occured two days after the assailants attacked Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, killing one students and abducted two students and eight lecturers.
Security source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the gunmen launched the attack at about 12am on Sunday.
He said about 12 people were abducted during the incident.
