Famous Hausa political singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara has systematically begged president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to come to his aid as he has been castigated for supporting the president-elect.
The singer released the new song when the president-elect returned from his international trip.
In the song, Rarara narrated how his properties were attacked especially in Kano state where he is based. He also narrated how his house was set ablaze during the Kano state gubernatorial election.
Analysts have described Rarara’s new song as a systematic begging geared toward seeking compensation from the president-elect.
A verse in the song says, “We suffered when you were not around, they burnt my house and abused my father. They said I have no body and now that you are back, I am sure you will save us the trouble.”
