The Golden Eaglets will on Friday confront Group A winners Burkina Faso for a ticket to the U-17 AFCON in Morocco in July after they sneaked into the semifinal of the qualifying tournament in Lome, Togo.
Nigeria went through to the last-four on a better goals difference than arch-rivals Ghana to set up a titanic semifinal battle against Burkina Faso on Friday.
The other semifinal will be between Cote d’Ivoire and Niger after hosts Togo were disqualified from the competition after they lined up a player who failed the age test. The two finalists will automatically advance to the U17 AFCON in Morocco.
