The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has condoled with a former Governor of Sokoto State Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko who lost his wife Hajiya Atika Wamakko.
Hajiya Atika died on Monday, November 28 after an illness.
A condolence message from the Tinubu Media Office, signed by Tunde Rahman, described the passage of the late Hajiya Atika as sad.
Tinubu prayed that the late Hajiya Atika be granted eternal rest.
He said: “I received the news about the passing of Hajiya Atika Wamakko, the beloved wife of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, with deep sadness.
“On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to the former governor of Sokoto and his family.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah comforts the family of Senator Wamakko at this moment.
“I also beseech Munificent Allah to forgive Hajiya Atika Wamakko her shortcomings like every other mortal and grant her Alijanna Firdaus. Amin,” Tinubu further prayed.
