At least seven persons have been killed in a fresh attack in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau state.
Spokesperson of Berom Youth Moulders Association, Rwang Tengwong, said the incident happened at Danda chugwi community following an attack by gunmen.
The renewed violence is coming barely a day after 18 other persons were reportedly killed during a clash between gunmen and members of vigilante group in the Wase Council Area of the state.
Mr Tengwong said, “the attack took place on Sunday, 31/07/2022 at around 9:00pm.
“Others who sustain serious gun injuries have been taken to Vom Christian hospital for immediate medical attention.”
There is no immediate comment from the police and military authorities over the incident.
