A prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria (MCN), Samuel Kanu, has been kidnapped in Abia state.
The priest was kidnapped on Sunday along the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway in Umunneochi LGA of Abia state.
The bishop of Owerri, Dennis Mark, as well as another cleric, were also said to have been abducted during the attack.
Spokesperson of Abia police command, Geoffrey Ogbonna, has confirmed the incident.
