The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says Nigerian cannot stand the trauma of sectional conflict at this critical time.
The party said this on its official twitter page on Saturday.
The statement followed the tension in the polity as a result of quit notice handed Fulani herders in the Southern part of the country that had led to physical attack on them by a group, led by one Sunday Igboho, in the South West, and unfavourable utterances by some leaders in the country.
The PDP said the present All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration has failed to curtail “unbridled violence, wanton killing and bloodletting” by bandits and terrorists.
The party charged President Muhammadu Buhari to take steps to unite the nation by ensuring justice “in the face of infractions against our federal sensibilities as a people.”
