Inspector General of Police Mohamed Adamu clocked 35 years in service on Monday, and according to Police Act and other public service rules, he should have bowed out of the force that day. As at Wednesday he is still there. Rumours swept online media on Tuesday that the DIG Operations had taken over in acting capacity. Other rumours said an AIG had been appointed as Acting IGP. Adamu was however seen at the airport, in uniform, welcoming President Buhari back to Abuja. So what’s up?
