Transparency International rating of Nigeria as the second most corrupt ECOWAS nation is a confirmation that President Muhammadu Buhari is running one of the most corrupt regimes in Nigeria’s history, the Peoples Democratic Party has said.
The PDP made this known Thursday in Abuja in a press statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan.
He said the TI verdict has vindicated the party’s accusation that the APC government is corrupt.
Ologbondiyan said the APC and the Buhari Presidency at the onset of this administration in 2015 showed a holier than thou posture, through propaganda to deliberately castigate the PDP with false corruption allegations just to divert public attention and create a safe atmosphere for APC leaders to loot our nation to her knees
“The fact remains that no matter how lies and falsehood try to prevail, the truth will always come to light at the end of the day,” the PDP spokesperson said.
