A 30-year-old woman, Hauwa Auwal, has been arrested for pouring hot water on her husband’s second wife, Sha’awanatu Muhmmad and her four-year-old daughter, Halima Khalid.
The Kano State Police Command spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, who confirmed the arrest, said police operatives stormed the house at Shekara Sabuwar Abuja in Kumbotso local government area of Kano State, after receiving reports of the incident.
He said the Police arrested the culprit and rushed the victims to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital for medical treatment.
