Rachel Oniga, a veteran Nollywood actress, is dead.
She died at the age of 64.
A member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria confirmed the dead on Saturday.
The deceased began her acting career in 1993, shortly after her divorce.
She hailed from Eku, Delta State.
She married a Yoruba man, but the marriage collapsed after she claimed another woman bewitched her husband and father of her children.
The cause of Oniga’s death was unknown at the time of this report.
Out of Bounds, Owo Blow, The Wedding Party, 30 Days in Atlanta and Power of Sin are some of her popular works.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu gifted her an apartment in Ikorodu in recognition of her contribution in the movie industry.
