Veteran Kannywood actress, Zainab Booth, is dead.
She died after a brain surgery at the age of 61.
She is the mother of Maryam Booth and Umar Booth – both Kannywood artists.
An actor in the Nigerian film industry, Ali Nuhu, confirmed her death.
Her son, Umar Booth, also confirmed her death, adding that his mother died at the age of 61.
She was said to have died on Thursday in Kano.
The funeral prayer of the deceased will take place at her residence, opposite Premier Hospital, Court Road, Kano, on Friday.
