No fewer than 55 people, including women and children, have been kidnapped in separate bandits attacks in Katsina State.
A security source said the gunmen invaded Katsalle village in Sabuwa local government area at about 1am on Monday and abducted about 30 people, majority of who were women and children.
He added that the bandit attacked Unguwar Tukur and Sabon Layin Mai Keke on Sunday and took away about 25 people.
The source said the gunmen came in large number on a motorcycle during the attacks.
The spokesperson, Katsina State Police Command, Gambo Isa, said he has not received report on the incident from the Sabuwa Divisional Police Officer.
