A passenger boat accident has claimed the lives of at least 24 farmers, with many missing in Niger State.
The tragedy happened Sunday morning at Gbajibo Community, Mokwa Local Government Area of the state.
Witnesses are saying the victims were from Gbajibo, Ekwa and Yankeiade, all in Mokwa LGA.
The Chairman of Mokwa LGA, Jibrin Abdullahi Muregi, said 21 bodies had so far been recovered by local divers.
