The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) says it is the turn of the Christians to produce Nigeria’s next President.
PFN’s national president, Bishop Wale Oke, who stated this during the 30th anniversary celebration of the body in Osogbo, Osun State, said Christians would not support a political party with a Muslim presidential candidate in 2023.
He said it would be wrong for President Muhammadu Buhari to hand over to another Muslim as president.
“Obasanjo handed over to Yar’adua, Yar’adua to Jonathan, and Jonathan to Buhari and who else should Buhari hand over to, but a Christian,” he noted through a statement by PFN’s Director of Media, Bishop Seun Adeoye.
The statement said PFN would put it’s 65 million voters on notice on the issue ahead of 2023 general election.
