Eighteen year-old Idowu Biletiri, has allegedly stabbed her elder brother, Kehinde Biletiri, to death at Igbokoda in Ilaje local government area of Ondo State.
An resident of the area said the suspect took a knife from their kitchen and stabed her brother during confrontation that ensued after the brother queried her about her wayward life, when she returned home after being absent for days.
He said only two of them were at home when the incident happened.
Spokesperson Ondo state Police Command, Tee Leo-Ikoro, said the incident had not been reported officially to the command, but rather to the Ondo State Security Network, popularly called Amotekun Corps.
“I can confirm that the incident occurred but it was reported to Amotekun Corps and they are in charge of the case now and until it is reported to the police, we cannot carry out any investigation,” Leo-Ikoro said.
