Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his condolences to the family of the late Abdullatif Abdussalam, who served as the governor’s special adviser on Yoruba Community Affairs.
This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa in Kano on Tuesday.
Yusuf described Abdussalam’s death as a huge loss to his family, Kano State, and Nigeria as a whole.
He praised the late adviser’s dedication, integrity, and commitment to unity and development in the state.
Yusuf acknowledged Abdussalam’s significant contributions to strengthening inter-community relations and advancing the interests of the Yoruba community in Kano.
The governor prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul and urged the family to find solace in the impactful legacy he left behind.(
